YORKSHIRE tenants feel they get the best value for money from their rent than the rest of the country, according to a poll.
The survey conducted by the UK Association of Letting Agents (UKALA) found that 83 per cent of Yorkshire and Humber tenants rated their rent as good or very good when asked their opinion on whether it represented value for money.
Just six per cent perceived their rent as poor or very poor value, putting the region at the top of the list for monetary satisfaction.
According to the research, North-East tenants were less satisfied with what they got for their rent money, with 30 per cent claiming the value as poor or very poor, and 60 per cent perceiving it as good or very good.
This placed the North-East second from bottom in the national table, with only South West tenants claiming their rent was worse value (33 per cent).
