A TALENTED young artist has put herself in the frame after achieving a gold award for her work.
Northallerton School and Sixth Form College A-level art student Chloe Hunt, 17, picked up the top prize at the Easingwold and District Art Society Autumn exhibition for her watercolour portrait "Not Just a Pretty Face."
Chloe, who was one of four Northallerton School and Sixth Form College A level students to submit artwork to the exhibition, said: “I was pleased when one of my paintings was selected to be part of the exhibition but was shocked when I went to see it on display with my family and saw the gold award certificate next to it.
“It was amazing to see it on show and I feel very happy that my work was recognised among such a high standard of art.”
Chloe’s £50 art voucher prize will be used to buy new watercolours and pencils.
