A LUCKY customer has been awarded a year’s supply of doughnuts - after camping out overnight.
Nicola Stewart, from Northallerton, received the doughnuts for being first in line at the grand opening of Krispy Kreme’s new outlet based in York on Coney Street.
Nicola camped out to queue from 11pm even though the shop did not open until 10am the next morning.
She said: “The overnight stay was totally worth it.”
Ms Stewart said she plans to give away most of her winnings to friends and family.
Neil Williamson, Krispy Kreme’s operations director said: “We’ve had a brilliant reception since launching at York Designer Outlet, and our fans here haven’t disappointed.”
