A HOST of attractions are in store at the annual Osmotherley Show this summer.

The agricultural show is now in its 109th year and takes place at Home Farm in Thimbleby near Northallerton on August 5.

It boasts a multitude of classes from cattle to sheep to dogs as well as numerous equine events, including light-hearted fun with the mounted and un-mounted fancy dress competitions.

Away from the livestock there is still plenty to enjoy.

A horticulture tent will boast a vast array of prize-winning fruit, veg and flowers as well as a display by members of the Osmotherley Gardening Club.

Younger visitors are also well-catered for with a series of competition classes for children as well as a Kid’s Zone with special visitors from Paw Patrol and the Trolls.

The show will also feature vintage tractors and trade stands, with fun continuing right through to 10pm with a disco.

The show opens at 10am and admission is £6 for adults, £5 concessions and children under 12-years-old £3. Under 5s go free and parking is free.
