OFFICERS from Hambleton District Council are putting the finishing touches to plans for Northallerton’s annual May Fair.
From April 27 to May 1 the High Street will be filled with rides and side shows, bringing thousands into the district.
Parking, bus and taxi points will change from April 26 at 6pm until May 2 at 8am. Parts of the High Street will be closed during the fair’s opening hours.
The Applegarth long and short stay, Crosby Road long stay and Hambleton Forum long and short stay car parks will operate as usual, except for a small number of bays in the Applegarth. The Civic Centre car park will also be available for parking.
Bus stops will move to Zetland Street for northbound services and the library for southbound. The town hall cab rank will move to Zetland Street.
