Firefighters called out after youths set fire to hay bale
FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night to reports of youths setting fire to Bales.
The crew arrived to the incident at Sandybank, Northallerton, to fine one hay bale alight.
The Northallerton crew extinguished the fire using a hose reel and pitch forks.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said police were aware of the incident.
