POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a group of men stole alcohol from Asda in Northallerton.
The thieves struck at the store on Brompton Road just before midday on Saturday, April 23.
The men left the store with stolen alcohol in a trolley and then loaded their haul into the boot of a silver estate car parked nearby on Byland Place.
Three men have been arrested in connection with the incident however the investigation is continuing.
Police are particularly keen to speak with a couple who walked past the Asda store and spoke with a staff member outside on the pavement about the estate car and the men loading alcohol into the boot.
