THE countdown is on for the second Tour de Yorkshire – and the county town of North Yorkshire plans to celebrate in style.
The race will be going through Northallerton on Sunday, May 1, and the local council wants to show off the town at its best.
The town council is now planning an informal meeting at 10am next Tuesday, February 2, to start putting together its plans.
Businesses, groups and individuals are being invited along to the meeting to have their input or alternatively people can send their ideas to the town hall office on the High Street.
