PERFORMERS will be pursuing their West End dreams at a top theatre later this month.
On Sunday (March 22) pupils from Stagecoach Theatre Arts School in Malton and Northallerton are due to head to London to perform at Her Majesty’s Theatre in the West End.
They will be giving a performance of McCartney classic, Live and Let Die.
Students from 17 Stagecoach schools around the country will take to the stage, treating audiences to a range of theatrical and musical pieces. The programme will include well-known numbers from the Blues Brothers and the West End show Wicked, as well as many other musical hits.
Stagecoach Theatre Arts School Malton and Northallerton Principal, Rick Hyland said: “So much hard work has gone into making this show a success. I cannot wait to see the audience’s reactions to such a variety of acts.
“Her Majesty’s is an exciting venue for our students to perform at as it gives them a taste of West End stardom. They can have the chance to showcase all their hard work so far this year and we couldn’t be more proud of them.”
