TWO 15-year-old boys have been charged over an attempted robbery in which a woman suffered a facial injury.
The two boys were arrested on Wednesday (October 22) and were both remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court over the alleged incident in Bullamoor Park, Northallerton, on Sunday (October 19).
The pair have also been charged with theft from a shop.
One is from Northallerton, the other is of no fixed address.
A third 15-year-old boy, who was arrested on Monday (October 20), remains on police bail.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward following the incident in which a 39-year-old local woman was attacked and suffered a black eye.
