POLICE in Northallerton are trying to re-unite two mountain bikes and a quad bike, which they believe are stolen, with their rightful owners.
The items were recovered during a search of a house in Middlesbrough after two men were arrested on suspicion of burglary in connection with a separate investigation.
The men who were arrested have been released on bail to allow for further police enquiries.
Detective Constable Karl Middlemiss said: “If you recognise any of the recovered property, I ask that you get in touch with us as soon as possible so that we can return the pedal cycles and quad bike to their rightful owners.”
Contact Northallerton CID on101, select option two and ask for Karl Middlemiss. Alternatively, information can be emailed to karl.middlemiss@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
