A JACOBEAN grade I listed house is set to host an event where visitors can watch live performances of music from the 17th to 20th century while walking around the historic property.
The Candlelit Promenade Concert at Kiplin Hall, between Scorton and Northallerton, will be held on October 7, from 7pm to 9.30pm and dishes from the 17th to the 19th centuries will be available in the Tea Room.
Local musicians, who have given their time to help towards the upkeep of the hall, include Baroque music duo Pellingman’s Saraband, Take Four Clarinet Quartet and The Mowbray String Quartet. For tickets, costing £7, call 01748-818178.
