MILITARY wives have raised more than £20,000 for a soldiers’ charity.
The women took part in a group skydive on Saturday at the Skydive St George centre at Durham Tees Valley Airport.
Their partners are members of the Light Dragoon Guards, based at Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire.
The endeavours of those who took part raised more than £20,000 for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, previously known as the Army Benevolent Fund.
Jim Duffy, a liaison officer with the charity, said: “The charity is extremely grateful to all of those brave wives who took part in the skydive.
They raised a fantastic amount which will make a real difference to those in the Army family who need our support.”
