POLICE were called to reports that a vulnerable woman went missing on Friday afternoon.
North Yorkshire Police searched woods near Wavell Junior School in Catterick Garrison from 2pm (Friday, December 11), and the extensive search including the use of police dogs and the police helicopter.
The woman was found at 3.45pm and the search was stood down.
A spokesman from North Yorkshire Police said the woman is safe and receiving the help she needs.
