A DENTAL group is set to expand after securing the lease of premises next door to its current site in Catterick Garrison.

The NHS and private dental group has expanded into the former William Hill bookmakers next to its existing practice in Hildyard Row – a move that has almost doubled its available space.

Alpha Dental Group has invested more than £70,000 on the new refurbishment and have expanded by more than 1,000 square feet to create two new surgeries as well as a treatment room for facial aesthetics.

The expansion will enable the company, which employs more than 65 people across North Yorkshire, to meet the growing demand for its services in the area.

David Birkin, partner of Alpha Dental Group, said: “The addition of the next door building to our existing facilities will create the extra capacity we need to enhance the services we offer our patients.

“We can now offer a five surgery practice with two ground floor surgeries for disabled access as well as a light and spacious waiting area for our patients with facilities for advanced services such as implants, orthodontics and oral surgery.

“We have experienced steady growth throughout the last year, which this investment will help us build upon during 2015."

The official opening of the refurbished practice will take place on Thursday, February 4 between 5.30pm and 7pm with guest speaker prospective Conservative candidate for Richmond, Rishi Sunak.
