A NORTH Yorkshire care home has been rated good by the Care Quality Commission.

Leeming Garth Care Home in Leeming Bar, run by HC-One, was applauded for reaching high standards in being caring, safe, effective, responsive, and well led, by the regulators.

The staff at Leeming Garth were singled out for particular praise, with residents and relatives reporting that they were 'very happy' and that staff were extremely 'kind and caring'.

Leeming Garth Care Home manager, Lorna Burn said: “We are delighted with this report which is a testament to the hard work that each and every member of the team puts in day in day out.”

HC-One managing director, Glen Mason added: “This rating is great news and I would like to thank and congratulate the whole team for their commitment and dedication.

“The health and wellbeing of our residents is at the heart of everything we do, and we are 100 per cent focused on continuing to deliver the kindest care."
