RETAIL premises created to help the commercial regeneration of a North Yorkshire market town have been completed and put up for sale.
The project to redevelop the Bridge Street area of Bedale has taken a significant step forward, as the new units have been completed and put on the market.
Units have already been let to existing tenants, a fast-growing retailer Bedale Flooring and Cake Dreams, a celebration cake business which originally started as a cupcake baking business from the home of owner Jo Williams’ in the nearby Yorkshire Dales.
The site was redeveloped as part of regeneration work by a partnership that included Yorkshire Forward, Hambleton District Council and Harrogate-based Amicon (Europe), the current owner of the retail units.
The retail property, across three units, has an asking price of £400,000 and is being managed by Connect Property North East (CPNE).
