These have been led by famous names in the world of textiles, who have travelled from all over the country. This years workshop’s have been led by artists including Emily Notman, Helen Cowans, Anne Brooke and Lynda Monk.

This is the Group’s tenth annual exhibition and will feature a wide range of contemporary and traditional items produced over the past year, including 3D goddesses, hangings and vessels.

It’s held in the Joiner’s Old Workshop at Laurel Grove, Snape, near Bedale, from 1pm to 5pm and entrance is 50p.

Also on display in the village is the annual Fruit and Flower Show, an exhibition by the Snape Local History Group and the garden fete. Refreshments are on offer in the Chapel Schoolroom.
