AIRMEN and women put themselves to the test in an exhausting 12-hour spinathon for Comic Relief.
Personnel from RAF Leeming teamed up to compete in the event, which started at 8am and had 11 teams working on hourly rotations throughout the day.
And to make sure there was no slacking the fund-raisers were pushed to the limit by spinning instructors throughout the day.
Event organiser Corporal Leanne Taylor said: “I had wanted to hold a fundraising event and with Comic Relief coming up it seemed like a prime time to get something organised.”
The event raised £330, which Cpl Taylor hopes will be added to with smaller Red Nose Day events on the base.
