A HOME offering residential and dementia care says it is launching a new approach and rebranding under the name Brighterkind.
Leeming Bar Grange Care Home, near Bedale, one of 26 Brighterkind homes throughout England and Scotland, forms part of the Four Seasons Health Care group. Manager Steve Gibson said: “Brighterkind has developed a new proposition that combines best practice in elderly care with an excellent standard of personalised care. It is designed to attract people who choose to self-fund their care although we will continue to welcome residents whose care provision is supported by the local authority.
“We aim to offer a lifestyle that each resident feels is right for them, through high standards of personalised care that is tailored to each resident’s needs and preferences; an activities programme that supports physical, mental and emotional wellbeing and dining that combines a contemporary restaurant experience with menus planned to ensure each resident’s nutritional requirements are met."
