I WOULD like to show my support to the people who manned the anti-fracking camp at Kirby Misperton and all those who protested at the gate.
It was cold, it was wet, it was uncomfortable and it had no other reason than to try and prevent an industry that is damaging the planet. If the industry is allowed to ride rough shod over everyone who actually cares about something other than themselves, we will all be in trouble. Fracking is harmful.
It will not give people cheap gas, it will not be discreet, it will industrialise the countryside and be used to make more plastics. Now I for one think that is a cause worth fighting for.
These brave souls, much braver than me, did things to try and make people wake up. Apathy allows fracking. Do your own research and wake up.
