A HIGH tech treasure hunt for all the family has been created on the North York Moors coastline with the help of local artists.
The Geocache Arts Trail at Sandsend has been launched today, devised by the North York Moors National Park as part of the Moor to Sea project the new trail involves lino-cut illustrations created by six well-known local artists.
The art forms the basis of the finds which families need to seek out.
A lino-cut stamp at each of six spots will correspond to an image in a booklet created for the two-mile geocache, which follows a section of the Cleveland Way National Trail.
To participate or for more information, families should refer to www.northyorkmoors.org.uk/geocacheartstrail and have access to a geocache device or download an app from geocaching.com.
