THE 86th consecutive Gilling West Farmers Ball was held at The Morritt hotel, Greta Bridge.
A total of 145 guests enjoyed a three-course meal with Prosecco.
“We had a raffle and an auction where we raised £4,125 in total for The Great North Air Ambulance Service,” said spokesperson Ali Wallace.
“We run a non-profit making event so all proceeds go to the charity.
“We had some alternative entertainment which was very popular, a high striker mallet game and sumo wrestler mat and suits as well as a disco which ended at 1.30am.”
