A LUXURY hotel is celebrating the release of a James Bond-themed ten pence piece by offering a 10p vodka Martini to people lucky enough to find one of the coins.
The Royal Mint has launched a ‘Quintessentially British A-Z’ of new coins with each representing something synonymous with Britain for each letter of the alphabet.
James Bond features on the 10p coin and The Wensleydale Heifer in West Witton is offering owners of the coin a glass of the fictional spy’s favourite cocktail - shaken not stirred, of course - in exchange for the 10p.
It is a fitting offer from the hotel which already boasts a James Bond-themed room.
The double room comes complete with a circular bed, a 007 room number and a distinctly Bond-esque chair.
