DALTON Amateur Dramatics Society has continued to impress audiences as the group nears its 20th anniversary.
The Society has finished its run of ‘Pinocchio’ at Dalton and Gayles Village Hall in Richmond and the show went down a storm with audiences.
Producer Pam Braithwaite wished to thank everyone involved in the panto and said: “Over the last 18 years Dalton Amateur Dramatics Society has developed a reputation for providing their pantomime audiences with a night full of fun, frolics and enjoyment, and this year’s production of Pinocchio lived up to expectations, with several members of the audience feeling it was their ‘best ever’.”
The title character ‘Pinocchio’ was played by Alice Knox, who has risen through the pantomime ranks at Dalton.
Pinocchio’s father ‘Gepetto’ was played by a new member to the society, Bob Tunstall alongside Stephen Longstaff who once again took on the role of the dame, ‘Barbie Botox’.
Ms Braithwaite praised all the actors involved for their “brilliant” performances and thanked everyone working behind the scenes who helped stage the show.
