A GASTRONOMIC journey of the world will be on offer when the StrEat Food and Family Fun Festival returns to North Yorkshire this spring.

The festival will be returning for the third year running over from May 26 to May 28, at a new location, the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate.

There will be food from more than 50 street food traders, alongside entertainment from street performers, live music and children’s activities over the bank holiday weekend.

All manner of vehicles, from converted horse boxes to Citroen H vans and Campervans will be serving a selection of world food from 50 traders.

There will also be craft beer teepees, cocktail bars, vintage deckchairs, wheelbarrow loungers, acrobats, vintage fun fairs, coconut shies, a wandering band and plenty of other entertainment.

The festival was nominated last year for best non-music festival in the UK.

Early bird tickets are £5 for the whole weekend of fun and children go free.
