A NEW tenant at an 18th century redbrick hotel and restaurant has unveiled his “grand plans”.
Chapters Boutique Hotel and Bistro, in Stokesley town centre, has handed the reins to Andrew Lyndon-Dykes with business partner Mark Hodgson.
Mr Lyndon-Dykes is a former venture capitalist and management consultant who owns several companies outside the leisure sector.
He said: “We have grand plans for the future of Chapters, we will be changing the menus, providing consistently high-quality food and there will also be a cafe menu including traditional afternoon teas to fully utilise the wonderful garden which overlooks the river.
“We also intend to cater for meetings, conferences and events, and we have a very exciting idea for the bar, however this must remain a secret for the moment.”
Shepherd Cox Hotels, landlord and owners of Chapters, purchased the premises in 2016.
Their portfolio includes The Croft Spa at Hurworth, The George Hotel at Piercebridge and The Hartlepool Grand.
