A CHRISTMAS festival which raised £1,550 for charity saw numerous perfectly preened trees go on display.
Richmond’s Methodist Church housed 23 real Christmas trees, decorated by groups and businesses in aid of local charities.
Those taking part included Richmond Rotary Club, Richmondshire Youth Theatre and the British Legion.
A Tour de Yorkshire themed tree made by Richmond Methodist Church CAMEO took centre stage, showcasing knitted bicycles, sheep and Swaledale chapels made of biscuits.
Richmond mayor Stuart Parsons, who opened proceedings, requested to exhibit the tree when the tour visits the town in May.
The festival spanned numerous days, featuring a performance from Richmond Ladies’ Choir Musicality, a Christmas fair and children's carol singing.
Richmondshire pet fair and dog show took place on Saturday, and the event concluded with a concert by Muker Silver Band.
The money will go to local charities including Just the Job and Thirsk Blue Cross Centre.
