A BREWERY is raising a glass to Britain's veterans.
The Daleside Brewery, based in Harrogate, has produced Poppies Ale, which is available across the North-East and North Yorkshire in the run-up to Remembrance Day.
And a contribution from each pint sold will go towards the 2017 Poppy Appeal to help the Royal British Legion with its work.
Managing director Eric Lucas said: "We hope that, as our customers remember the sacrifices made by our Armed Forces in all conflicts, but especially during the centenary year of the Battle of the Passchendaele, that they can raise a glass of this special Poppies Ale and know that, as a result, we will be doing our bit to support the valuable work of the Royal British Legion."
Paul Collingridge β of the North and East Yorkshire Poppy Appeal said: "Itβs fantastic to have the support of a local brewer such as Daleside, as we know their ales are in high demand throughout the region.
"To have their Poppies Ale to help promote the Poppy Appeal 2016,can only be great news. We hope that it proves to be a great success.β
