FOUR gigs featuring well-known, established stars are due to take place at a village hall over the next few months.

The star line-up is heading to Hutton Rudby Village Hall, near Stokesley, and will kick-off on Saturday, October 28 with Fara, contenders for this year’s BBC Young Folk Artist award and rising stars of the folk scene.

They will be followed on Saturday, November 18 with singer songwriter Martyn Joseph, who was recently recognised in BBC 2’s series on singer songwriters and whose 2012 hit won the best folk song category in the World Independent Music Awards. He is also well-known for his social justice campaigning.

On Saturday, December 9 Duke Special will be playing the venue and on Friday, January 26, Grammy Award-winner and co-writer of Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud", Amy Wadge, will appear with Luke Jackson.
