THIS terrific video was shot by Thomas Beresford at Kingsdale in the Yorkshire Dales.
It shows the result of heavy rain on the surrounding hillsides.
The video got a huge response on Twitter.
Said Thomas, aka @bezberesford: "That heavy rain. I knew it was going to come. Waited an hour but worth it."
Speaking to The Northern Echo, he said: "Water comes off all of the hills following little streams down into the valley of Kingsdale where the river Long Gill collects it all and transports it to the River Twiss. It then cascades over Thornton force," he said.
