A GLAMOROUS opening night is planned for one of the biggest regional fund-raisers for the NSPCC.

The charity’s annual Christmas Fair in North Yorkshire is to be held at Duncombe Park, near Helmsley, and last year raised £58,750 for the charity.

Cooper York BMW, the Feversham Arms Hotel and Verbena Spa, Coopers Marquees plus Perrier Jouet champagne are each sponsoring and making donations in support of the preview evening.

The fair runs from the evening of November 17 and continues throughout the day on November 18 and 19.

The opening night preview is open to a restricted number of guests to enjoy the party and shopping experience so advance booking is essential.

A special champagne reception will feature complimentary Perrier Jouet together with canapés prepared and kindly donated by the Feversham Arms.

Cooper York BMW is also providing a VIP chauffeur service at the preview evening with the new BMW 7 Series, ferrying guests to and from Helmsley.

To house the reception as well as some of the 70 stalls Coopers Marquees will provide a structure with a solid glass front, complete with crystal chandeliers and a mirrored bar.

The fair’s joint chairman, Wakey Fraser, said: “We are overwhelmed with the level of support from our local sponsors. We look forward to the most exclusive and glamorous opening night we’ve ever had.”

Tickets for the preview evening are £15. Tickets for November 18 and 19 are £8. Visit nspccduncombeparkchristmasfair.co.uk
