Workshop blaze
Ten fire crews last night dealt with a fire in a large farm workshop which contained a 5,000 litre diesel tank and gas cylinders.
Six crews and a water bowser initially responded to the alarm at a farm at Snape, near Bedale, North Yorkshire, at 10.27pm on Monday night.
However, due to the presence of the diesel tank and gas cylinders, a further four appliances were despatched to provide more water.
The crews remained on scene keeping tank and cylinders cool until around 3am, and will return this morning.
The building measures 80 metres by 80 metres.
