A KNIFE-wielding robber is on the run after raiding a shop in the county town of North Yorkshire.
The man entered the P and R Nail bar on Northallerton’s High Street at about 5.20pm on Monday, November 16, with what police believe was a knife.
He stole cash from the till before making off on foot towards Quaker Lane. He was described as about 6ft tall and was wearing a light hooded top and a dark balaclava.
A police spokesman said: “We are appealing for any witnesses to come forward who may have seen the suspect hanging around before the offence or afterward when he made good his escape.”
