WEDDING planners in search of a bargain will be converging on the heart of North Yorkshire later this month.
The ancient Hospitium in York’s colourful Museum Gardens is playing host to the Wedding Table Top Sale on September 13 from 11am to 3pm.
The event was originally the first of its kind in Yorkshire and has grown in popularity each year.
And everything from “pre-loved” wedding dresses to table decorations will available to help couples celebrate their special day.
The TYork Museums’ Trust weddings and events manager, Jennifer Chadwick, explaineed: “After their wedding day, couples are often left with items that they no longer need or have use for.
“York Venues has organised The Wedding Table Top Sale to help couples reduce the cost of their special day, while providing married couples with a way of making some of their money back and putting their used wedding items to good use.
“It can also be nice for couples to sell these sentimental items on to couples that they have met personally.”
Stall holders can book a 6ft table for £15 and browsing is 50p. To book a stall or find out more information contact Jennifer Chadwick on 01904-687671 or via Jennifer.Chadwick@ymt.org.uk.
