FATAL INJURIES: Stephen Eastwood
TWO people have appeared in court accused of murdering a man who died more than two years after being attacked.
York Magistrates Court heard Andrew Fowler, 42, of Monkton Road, York, and Amanda Jane Moran, 28, of St John’s Terrace, in Leeds, allegedy attacked Stephen Eastwood on March 27, 2012.
He was found with serious head injuries at a former car dealership in Lawrence Street, York.
Mr Eastwood, of York, never recovered from his injuries and died on May 12 this year, aged 49.
The prosecution is expected to claim that he died as a result of the injuries he suffered on Lawrence Street in 2012.
Fowler and Moran spoke only to confirm their names, ages and addresses.
They will appear before Leeds Crown Court on Friday.
