JOHNNY Vegas is reuniting with comedy writer and past co-star Jason Cook at a North-East festival of laughter.

The stand-up comedian and all-round television personality starred as coach driver Terry in the Hebburn writer’s first feature-length comedy drama, Murder on the Blackpool Express, for the Gold channel last year,

He will now join him on the sofa in the improvised stage show, Cook and Vegas are Blethering On, at the third annual South Tyneside Comedy Festival, at The Customs House, in South Shields.

Cook and Vegas are Blethering On starts on Saturday August 4, at 8pm, with tickets priced from £25.

Meanwhile, Lost Voice Guy: Inspiration Porn has become the first show at this year’s festival to sell out.

Fans clamoured for tickets after Consett comedian Lee Ridley’s recent success winning Britain’s Got Talent.
