ENTRIES are now open for a North-East running challenge.
Foundation of Light’s Lambton 10k and 3k Runs return to the Lambton Estate on Sunday, June 24.
Since launching in 2009, thousands of runners have taken part in the events raising funds to support the charity’s work across the region.
Suitable for families and runners of all ages and abilities, the less demanding 3k family fun run is perfect for younger participants.
Jemma Garrett, events manager at Foundation of Light, said: “We expect places to fill up fast so those interested who haven’t registered already should do so now to guarantee their place at the starting line.”
Entry fees cost £16 for UKA members and £18 for all unattached runners for the10k run or £10 for UKA members and £12 for all unattached runners (3k run).
The 10k starts at 10am and the 3k at 10.15am. Late entries will be available from 9am. Minimum age for the 10k is 15 years.
