DETAILS have been unveiled for the fiftieth anniversary of the revival of an ancient festival.
Sunderland City Council’s Coalfield Area Committee and community partners, have big plans for this year’s Houghton Feast.
The programme for Houghton Feast 50 was launched by the area committee chair Councillor Anne Lawson.
Cllr Lawson was joined by seven-year-old Jack Craine, of Dubmire Academy who designed the Houghton Feast 50 logo, and members of the steering group who have helped prepare the programme of activities and events. For further information visit www.houghtonfeast.co.uk
