CORONATION Street stars inspired by the popular Carpool Kareoke took residency in a yellow cab to put their skills to the test.
Alan Halsall and Andrew Whyment were in a yellow Jet2CityBreaks cab for the day in Newcastle city centre, where they invited members of the public to hop in and pick their favourite American-themed song.
People sang it alongside the stars for a chance to win return tickets to New York with Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks.
Each Jet2Cabaoke participant is in with a chance of winning return tickets to New York, but first had to impress with their vocal skills. The stars picked their favourite crooner of the day to be entered into a public vote.to win the much coveted tickets. Jet2.com and Jet2holidays chief executive Steve Heapy said: “We enjoyed a great day in Newcastle where the standard was certainly varied, but the enthusiasm was brilliant throughout. Our dedicated trips to New York are always in demand, and with trips from Newcastle Airport this year, we are looking forward to a very successful programme.”
