CHARGED: Two charged with Cresswell attempted murder
A MAN and a woman have been charged with attempted murder after a man in his 20's was found with serious injuries in the Cresswell area of Northumberland.
The badly injured victim was found at the side of a road near the beach on the morning of Monday, July 10.
Richard James Spottiswood, 33, of Canterbury Way, South Shields and Lucy Burn, 29, of Burns Close, South Shields have both been charged and are due to appear before South East Northumberland Magistrates on Monday morning.
Two others arrested have been released under investigation.
