OPEN auditions take place this weekend for children to perform in a theatre’s pantomime.
Dancers aged eight and over are needed for Snow White and the Seven Dwarves to be performed at the Tyne Theatre and Opera House in Newcastle from December 8 to 31.
Auditions take place at the venue this weekend, with eight to ten-year-olds put through their paces on Saturday morning, with registration from 10am, and over 14s in the afternoon with registration from 1.30pm.
Auditions for 11 to 13-year-olds take place on Sunday, with registration from 10.30am.
Choreographer Kerry Blaskett said: “We’re looking for local performers with dance experience and a strong jazz technique to be our dancers in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
"All those auditioning need to bring appropriate clothing/footwear on the day and also be available to rehearse every Sunday during October and November as well as for the pantomime itself in December."
