OFFICERS are investigating after a man was found with a serious head injury.
Police received a report of a man appearing to be a rough sleeper, with a serious head injury in the Swan House subway under the Fat Buddha bar in Newcastle.
The alarm was raised at about at 9.30pm on Saturday, April 15.
A spokesman for Northumbria Police said: “It is not known how the man came about his injuries, however it is believed that he may have been seen in the area by members of the public who may not have realised that he was hurt at the time.
The man is 29 years old, average height, slim build, was wearing a hoody and had a sleeping bag with him in the subway at the time he was found.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101.
