Northumbria Police.
POLICE have recovered the body of a man in the River Tyne, near the Millennium Bridge, in Newcastle.
Emergency services were alerted and attended the scene at 9am yesterday morning.
Inquiries to formally identify the man are ongoing, but it is believed to be missing man David Bowen, 60, of Newcastle. The former camerman for ITV’s Tyne Tees was reported missing on February 7.
