WITH the official start of spring just over a week away, North-East photographers captured some stunning images of the North-East coast as day was breaking yesterday.
And the decent weather is set to continue, with forecasters predicting that parts of the UK will be as warm as Spanish hotspots Ibiza, Barcelona and Madrid today as temperatures soar.
The UK could see one of the warmest days of the year so far – with Southerners in particular set to see the mercury peaking in the late teens.
Temperatures will fall towards the end of the week, but are expected to remain just above the average maximum highs for mid-March.
