THE region’s biggest Christmas fair is moving to a new venue.
The four-day Living North Christmas Fair has traditionally been held at Newcastle Racecourse, but lost the venue when extra dates were added to the racing calendar.
Now Newcastle City Council has confirmed the event will be staged at a tented village in Exhibition Park starting on November 2.
Cllr Kim McGuinness, from Newcastle City Council, said: “This is an exceptionally popular event, which is expected to attract around 25,000 shoppers and over 250 exhibitors.”
