AN 84-year-old man has died following a car crash.
Thomas Gill, from Newcastle, died following the crash on the A696 north of Ponteland on Friday, November 2.
Mr Gill was driving his VW Golf when he was involved in a collision with a van and an Isuzu pick up just before 3pm.
Emergency services attended but Mr Gill was pronounced dead at the scene.
The occupants of the other vehicles suffered minor injuries.
- Police are appealing for anyone who saw the collision to call 101, quoting reference 639 02/12/16.
