A DRIVER has escaped uninjured after a sports car flipped over on a North-East road.
It happened at around 10.20am on Sunday on the A19, south of Testo’s roundabout heading towards Sunderland. Police say the Lotus Exige driver, who was alone in the vehicle, was unhurt.
An ambulance was sent as a precaution and one lane was closed while police dealt with the accident.
