GLOBAL superstar Rihanna is returning to the North-East next summer as part of her hotly-anticipated world tour, it was announced today.

One of the biggest names in music, the Bajan star is set to take to the stage in the Anti-Tour - named after her new album - and Sunderland’s Stadium of Light will play host to the show on Saturday, June 18, 2016, one of only six UK venues.

Ri-Ri, who has sold 54 million albums and 210 million digital tracks worldwide making her the top-selling digital artist of all time, will be joined by The Weeknd and Big Sean, respectively, as special guests at the Stadium of Light.
