A 16-YEAR-OLD has tonight been charged with the murder of a woman in Blyth, Northumberland.
Police were alerted at 7.23am this morning raising concern for a woman inside a home in Edendale Avenue.
Officers attended the house and discovered a body of a woman. Paramedics were called but she was declared dead at the scene.
The 16-year-old male has been charged with murder and has been remanded in custody to appear at North Tyneside Magistrates' tomorrow.
Enquiries into the murder are ongoing and anyone with any information that could help with enquiries is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191 quoting reference number 152 16/11/15.
